COVID-19 Unit

Dedicated COVID-19 Unit

At Embassy, we have opened dedicated units to meet the care needs of people with COVID-19. The following locations currently offer this dedicated unit:

In Most of Our Units, We Offer the Following Services:

IV Therapy Services

We can accommodate antibiotic IV therapy during the patient’s stay.

Consistent Staffing

We understand that transitioning to a facility can be hard. We offer consistent staffing to help build relationships and trust between patients and staff. We have RNs, LPNs, and STNAs that are specially trained to care for the patients on this unit.

Physical and Occupational Therapy

We have a dedicated physical and occupational therapy team. Our therapists work with patients on strengthening and endurance. The focus is always getting patients back to being able to be as independent as possible with a strong emphasis on activities of daily living. Our therapy team works with insurance providers to get specialized equipment, including wheelchairs, for patients when appropriate.

Family Involvement

We offer the ability to FaceTime, Google Duo, or Zoom with the resident’s loved ones. We understand that this is a hard time for everyone, and strive to make it as easy as possible.

Speech Therapy

As many people come in on tube feed or puree diets, our speech therapist works with the patients to progressively move up to an adequate intake of a regular consistent diet.

Wound Care

We offer wound care through our certified wound care nurse, trained unit nurses, and Telehealth with our wound physician to all patients suffering from skin integrity issues.

Meal Services

Full meal services are available on the isolation unit including the availability of the full alternative menu and access to snacks between meals and at night.
