Physical Therapy – Helps increase strength, balance and mobility while reducing pain and discomfort. A quality physical therapy program can help people return to regular activity, and is necessary before introducing exercise programs after an injury.
Occupational Therapy – Helps people perform everyday activities such as feeding and dressing. We teach transferring and positioning techniques, as well as necessary home skills like laundry and cooking.
Speech Therapy – Provided by a licensed, certified speech-language pathologist, speech services are designed to improve communication and clarity of speech.
Pulmonary Care
At Embassy Healthcare, we understand having a Pulmonary unit with a dedicated staff can drastically reduce rehospitalization rates, allows for a faster recovery, and fosters a better quality of life for our patients and residents. Our Pulmonary Care Program strives to help our short-term and long-term residents re-establish their highest functioning pulmonary status. Short term and long term residents with diagnosis of COPD, Pneumonia, Asthma, or Respiratory Failure re-establish their highest functioning pulmonary status.
Our facility pulmonologist, respiratory therapist and expert nursing staff can reduce hospital readmissions through specialized care for patients with:
