Grande Oaks is a 75-bed skilled nursing facility in Oakwood Village, Ohio. We have a long history of outstanding healthcare service in the Cleveland area and are conveniently situated off I-271.

Dietary and Nutrition Care

Hospice Care

IV Therapy

Intravenous therapy is essential for administering medication, fluids, blood transfusions and nutrients. It may be necessary if you’re recovering from an operation or illness or have difficulty taking medication orally.

 

Our skilled nursing staff specializes in IV administration to help you get the medication and fluids you need without causing discomfort. You may require IV therapy if you have an autoimmune disorder, cancer or infection. Malnutrition and dehydration are also treated with IV therapy.

Long-Term Rehab

Services that last longer than three months are considered long-term rehabilitation or care. Our long-term rehab services are designed for those who need daily care or have unique post-surgery requirements.

Pulmonary Care

Embassy Healthcare offers comprehensive respiratory care through Empower Pulmonary for conditions such as COPD, pneumonia, asthma and respiratory failure. The Grande Oaks team is led by Dr. Anthony DiMarco who specializes in pulmonology and pleural disease. We focus on promoting strong respiratory function to improve your overall pulmonary health. Our dedicated staff are onsite weekly.

This service allows caregivers time to rest, shop, complete housework and address personal matters. The duration of respite care varies from a few hours to extended stays depending on individual needs.

Wound Care

Dr. Marc Berkowitz leads our wound care program. He specializes in podiatric medicine and surgery, wound care, reconstructive foot surgery, sports medicine and diabetic foot care. Our comprehensive wound care services can reduce the risk of infection and rehospitalization. Our team periodically assesses wounds and will educate you on follow-up care.

Wound care services include but aren’t limited to:

  • Cleaning and debridement
  • Dressing changes
  • Infection management
  • Compression therapy

Short- and Long-Term Care

Your illness or injury will dictate the duration of your care. You could require long-term care to ensure you return home and live independently.  The staff at Grande Oaks will assist with activities of daily living so you can continue down the road to recovery.
