Embassy Healthcare’s Pulmonary Care Services

Oxygen Therapy

Your loved one may require oxygen therapy if they live with a chronic condition that affects oxygen delivery. This may include heart failure, pulmonary hypertension and acute respiratory distress syndrome. Oxygen therapy provides supplemental oxygen to the lungs via a mask, nasal cannula or ventilator. We can deliver high-flow oxygen up to 60 liters and overnight pulse oxygen.

Respiratory Therapy

Respiratory therapy addresses issues with the lungs and airways, which can affect the oxygenation of your loved one’s organs and tissues. Our skilled respiratory therapists administer comprehensive assessments and teach breathing techniques to support lung efficiency. They will also ensure your loved one has the necessary respiratory equipment to stay comfortable.

Tracheostomy Care

Tracheostomies require special care to facilitate breathing and prevent infection in the stoma. Airway obstructions, long-term ventilator use and neuromuscular disorders may require your loved one to receive a tracheostomy. Our staff are trained to maintain, clean and monitor tracheostomy equipment. We also provide suctioning and weaning services.

Ventilator Management

Ventilators support breathing in patients with respiratory failure. They require consistent management to support proper oxygenation and patient comfort. Embassy Healthcare’s respiratory team specializes in invasive and non-invasive ventilator care and weaning.

Medication Management

Our staff will review your loved one’s medical history and doctor’s instructions to ensure they adhere to the recommended medication schedule. We can provide oral and IV medication to help manage the effects of your loved one’s pulmonary condition. Our staff also educate patients on proper techniques when using inhalers and nebulizers.

Continuous Respiratory Monitoring

Our Empower Pulmonary program includes comprehensive monitoring to track your loved one’s vital signs and oxygen saturation levels. This proactive approach allows us to identify potential respiratory complications and address adverse events effectively. Monitoring also promotes quality of care and patient satisfaction.
