Embassy of Woodview is a 95-bed skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility in Columbus, Ohio. We’re just 15 minutes from downtown Columbus and have direct access to community activities and events.

Skilled Nursing

You may require skilled nursing care if you’re recovering from an acute illness, hospitalization or surgical procedure. Cardiac Care

We offer education and medical resources to help you stay on top of your condition at home. That reduces your risk of rehospitalization caused by further cardiac incidents.

Diabetes Care

Embassy of Woodview offers dedicated diabetes care to help you or your loved one live comfortably. Our expert staff will create a custom care plan based on your medical history and in collaboration with your primary care physician. We offer support programs to provide a well-rounded approach to diabetes management to address your physical, mental and emotional needs.

Dietary and Nutrition Care

We complete nutritional assessments to understand your dietary habits, identify food allergies and accommodate nutrient deficiencies. Hospice Care

IV Therapy

Intravenous therapy is essential for administering medication, fluids, blood transfusions and nutrients. It may be necessary if you’re recovering from an operation or illness or have difficulty taking medication orally.

Our skilled nursing staff specializes in IV administration to help you get the medication and fluids you need without causing discomfort. You may require IV therapy if you have an autoimmune disorder, cancer or infection. Malnutrition and dehydration are also treated with IV therapy.

Long-Term Rehab

Services that last longer than three months are considered long-term rehabilitation or care. Our long-term rehab services are designed for those who need daily care or have unique post-surgery requirements.

Pulmonary Care

Embassy Healthcare offers comprehensive respiratory care through Empower Pulmonary for conditions such as COPD, pneumonia, asthma and respiratory failure. We focus on promoting strong respiratory function to improve your overall pulmonary health. Our dedicated staff is trained to administer BiPAP/CPAP and tend to ventilators.

Rehab and Therapy

Renal Care

Embassy of Woodview offers renal care services to help you or your loved one manage kidney disease symptoms. Our renal care services include initial evaluations, ongoing assessments, dialysis care and nutrition counseling. Embassy of Woodview’s renal care team includes registered nurses, dialysis technicians, nephrologists and social workers who work together to ensure your comfort and positive clinical outcomes.

Respite Care

Caregivers must take care of themselves to tend to their loved ones. Embassy of Woodview offers respite care to provide friends and family members a reprieve from caregiving responsibilities.

This service allows caregivers time to rest, shop, complete housework and address personal matters. The duration of respite care varies from a few hours to extended stays depending on individual needs.

Wound Care

Dr. Marc Berkowitz leads our wound care program. He specializes in podiatric medicine and surgery, wound care, reconstructive foot surgery, sports medicine and diabetic foot care. Our comprehensive wound care services can reduce the risk of infection and rehospitalization. Our team periodically assesses wounds and will educate you on follow-up care.

Wound care services include, but aren’t limited to:

  • Cleaning and debridement
  • Dressing changes
  • Infection management
  • Compression therapy

Short- and Long-Term Nursing Care

Your illness or injury will dictate the duration of your care. You could require long-term care to ensure you return home and live independently.  The staff at Embassy of Woodview will assist with activities of daily living so you can continue down the road to recovery.
