Benefits of On-Site Pulmonary
Did you know…having a pulmonary unit with a dedicated staff drastically reduces rehospitalization rates, allows for a faster recovery, and fosters a better quality of life for our residents.
Our ventilator unit provides patients with BiPAP and CPAP monitoring and breathing treatments. We have a proven track record of weaning patients from ventilator support, oxygen therapy and trach decannulation. Our in-house physician and respiratory therapists are on-site 24/7 to regularly monitor respiratory needs.
Pulmonary and respiratory care at Embassy Healthcare will likely be covered by your insurance provider.
Who Can Take Advantage of Pulmonary?
Our pulmonary and respiratory care program is available to all residents, both short-term and long-term.
When short-term residents are ready to return home, our care team will train the patient and their family/caregivers to perform proper care routines, like trach suctioning correctly. They’ll also be provided with guidelines and warning signs that indicate a problem or infection that requires medical attention.
