Rehab & Therapy
Surgery, trauma and stroke are a few issues that often require rehabilitation before heading home or ongoing rehabilitation at home. Our state-of-the-art facility has a full modality package including ultrasound, electric stimulation, equipment and diathermy provided by Aspen Rehab.
We are one of the few departments with a standing frame that brings patients to a standing position for extended periods. Our staff coverage allows us to perform evaluations seven days a week. This ensures residents won’t go the entire weekend without rehab care.
Our dedicated caregivers work under expert medical direction to address the needs of our patients, helping to mitigate the effects of dementia. At Winchester, we maintain a secure unit for privacy and daily hands-on management.
We provide care to individuals with:
- Alzheimer’s disease
- Normal pressure hydrocephalus
- Wernicke-Korsakoff syndrome
- Parkinson’s disease
- Frontal temporal dementia
